Appointing vice position of mineral and exploration in IMIDRO is questionable to private sector

Head of Industrial and Mineral Association Network of Iran:Appointing vice position of mineral and exploration in IMIDRO is questionable to private sector.

On Tuesday, Bijan Panahizadeh , during an interview with IRNA said: The ministry of Trade and Industry has various sub-organizations including Geology and Mineral Exploration Department which the department has been working on specific activities. He added, this department has continued it's service despite budget issues.

Panahizadeh said: If the new vice position in Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization aims for economic grow, this is not accepted by private sector and needs correction.
He also said: According to the fifth development plan which advocates for smaller government governmental agencies, the new decision to appoint new positions in government contradicts the Article 44.

According to Panahaizdeh, IMIDRO is one of government's successful and strong organization, and should not be accepted as a competitor by private sector in the field of Mining and Exploration.

He added: The policy of agility for IMIDRO will not hurt the private sector.
He expressed his optimism that IMIDRO will share resources for economic growth and to support the explorers. At the end, Panahizadeh requested more cooperation among the organizations of Ministry of Trade and Mining with private sector.
